Rally for Herb Hall's Health and Healing

What do you think of when you hear the name Herb Hall? Loved? Respected? Reliable? Loyal? These are just a few words to describe our beloved friend. Herb has left an impact on so many people's lives. He is a veteran investigator with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. Herb has worked tirelessly as a soccer coach, coaching at the College of Saint Rose, the Albany Alleycats, and the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans.

Herb has a strong sense of family. He adores his wife, Traci, who he’s been married to for 30 years. He is the best dad to their son, Nathaniel. These bonds are so important to him and they are his world! Herb is someone who brings humor, positive energy, and brings out the best in everyone he encounters. Herb sees every situation in a positive light even when challenges present themselves.

Herb battled and beat cancer when he was younger. More recently, Herb spent 7 weeks at St. Peter’s Hospital where he fought through a complicated heart surgery, replacing two heart valves, all while fighting off an infection in his blood.

Over the last week, Herb experienced complications from another blood infection which has damaged his heart, yet again. Things have progressed to the point where Herb was recently transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to work with their specialists and undergo another surgery. Expenses are mounting (ambulance transfer, NYC hotels, meals, travel to and from the hospital, as well as items not covered by insurance).

Herb’s huge heart has given to so many. To quote one of Herb’s law enforcement buddies, “ Herb is the man! He’s a warrior, unflappable and simply one of the best humans I’ve had the pleasure of working with.” The heart that he has so graciously shared with so many needs your help! Treatment is most effective when family, friends, and community members come together to help support the family emotionally, as well as financially. If you are able to contribute, all proceeds will go directly to paying for medical expenses, as well as travel incidentals. Let’s all come together to alleviate some stress so Herb, Traci, and Nathaniel can focus on what is most important: getting Herb healthy so we can all once again enjoy his humor, positivity, and infectious personality.
