Update: my grandmother took a turn, we are now by her side till her loved ones call her to be with them. All money raised will be going towards funeral expenses. We are very close to our goal. It just doesnt reflect on here.

Hi everyone, my name is Stacy. My grandmother has been dealt a really horrible hand in life currently. She is 89 years old and went from working full time up until she had knee surgery couple months ago. She got placed in the worst rehab center where they allowed her health to go down hill from the lack of care. To ending up in Albany Med on June 20th just 4 days after her birthday. My Mom and My Aunt carrie visited her and seen her health decline. My sister Sarah and I had her sent out by ambulance to get her to Albany Med where i know shes in good hands. She is currently in the ICU and showing improvement. Last night June 22nd/early morning June 23rd, we got a phone call her house is on fire. This home she has had for over 50 years. She will not be able to return to. She didnt have the proper insurances due to not having income to keep her bills covered. My Sister and my goal is to be able to get her out of the hospital and get her the best home care she can in our home when she fully recovers. Anything is helpful to making her last days, months, hopefully few more years easier.
