PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FRIEND IN HIS BATTLE WITH CANCER AT A CRITICAL TIME IN HIS LIFE….
I would like to introduce you to Francisco(Fran) Marin and his family. A truly wonderful person and great friend who has been a part of our community for the past 3 years. The difficult part of his story is that Fran has been diagnosed with cancer at one of the worst possible times. This news came after Francisco had just relocated his wife and 2 young children from Argentina to our community after being a world apart for more than 4 years. While apart, Fran had been working within our community waiting patiently for the lengthy and costly move to happen. On top of that he also just recently lost his father to the very disease he is battling now.
The cancer diagnosis came after a pain in his shoulder later became too much to bear and for his arm to function properly. His job then decided he would no longer be able to handle the strenuous work environment and laid Francisco off. This all came after years of dedication to the company and just 2 months after reuniting with his family. Through all of this Francisco has continued to work side jobs and door dash to support his family while his wife retained a job as a Walmart associate.
This is where a few of his friends decided that Francisco and his family deserve and need the help from our community. If you can only imagine that within weeks of having just achieved one of the toughest challenges life can bring, moving your family to the United States, after a long and costly process. You then get the news of not only cancer but one that will limit your ability to provide for your family.
Fran saw the USA as better path for his family to prosper. This person and his family are the epitome of what the American dream should be. A person that worked his tail off to obtain the freedoms for his family that we all so very much adore.
If you could meet him and his family you would understand why a few of his acquaintances decided to start this go fund me for him and his family. If you were to ask him today how things are going, he would reply “It’s good” in an upbeat positive attitude. You would see how caring and full of pride Francisco is by meeting him just one time. I know Mr Fran well enough to know how much this would mean to him his wife and his two children. Please consider a donation in this families favor no matter the amount.
Thanks
Fran’s Family & Friends
