Rally for Emil's Recovery and Well-Being
Donation protected
My name is Anna and my best friend also Anna has a beautiful little colt that was so full of life the last time I saw him. She let me name him Emil because he was a spunky little thing like my son and back in the day my Dad.
From Anna:
Sunday morning I noticed he was standing funny in the ass end, then he wasn't moving right in the back end. It's like he did the splits. So I gave him banimine and he started walking a little better but still dragging his one back leg and not bringing them forward. No real swelling a little but nothing big. In the morning I noticed he was peeing a lot! By the afternoon he was struggling to pee and only dribbles were coming out. So took him to Abrahams on Monday morning and his bladder was huge! So the did a cath and a lot came out, they didn't see any tears or anything in the bladder. Yesterday morning they called and he still wasn't peeing on his own, they have no idea what is wrong, guess there is a new genetic disorder out that Iowa State told Dr ball to keep in the back of her mind, it's called Spinocerebellar Ataxia, everything else looks good in his blood work besides his potassium and white cells as that would be normal since he has shit going on.
Bottom line this little guy needs all the love and support you are able to give. He is such a beautiful spark of life and deserves a chance.
The costs are mounting, and we are doing everything we can to provide the care he needs. However, the financial burden is overwhelming, and we need your help to continue this fight.
How You Can Help:
We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the ongoing veterinary expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards his medical care. Your support will not only help us provide the necessary treatments but also give us hope in this challenging time.
Updates:
We will keep all donors updated on his condition and any developments in his care. Your encouragement and support mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Please consider donating and sharing our campaign with others. Together, we can make a difference in this young foal's life.
