Help Save Rotten City Pizza – A New Chapter Begins

Rotten City Pizza is closing its doors—but not if we can help it.

Two longtime employees (and one ambitious young apprentice) are stepping up to keep this iconic Emeryville pizza spot alive. They’ve worked the ovens, the floor, and the rushes for years. Now, they’re ready to carry on the legacy with a new concept of their own, right here in the same space.

But they need some help to get started.

This GoFundMe will cover the first 2–3 months of operating costs—rent, ingredients, equipment, and permits—just enough runway to give their concept a real shot. The goal? Keep great pizza in Emeryville and give the next generation of pizza makers a fighting chance.
