My name is Julie Ball and we are asking for some help for my daughter Emelie. Her son Jayce is 11, and had an emergency appendectomy on July 3. Since that time, he has been fighting abscesses and infections, and has been hospitalized in Fort Dodge for 5 days, Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines for 5 days, and just today, he was taken to Omaha by ambulance to try and find out why he is spiking fevers again and possibly to have another drain in place.

Emelie has missed almost 2 months of work. She had to stay in Iowa with us while Jayce was healing, and now that she is back home, she and her sister were scheduled to open the food truck, and Jayce got sick again. We are trying to ask for help. Emelie is doing all she can to take care of her kids, and between medical bills, travel costs, her car breaking down, and trying to find rides to be with Jayce, this girl is about at her wits' end. If you have the ability, and feel so inclined, we would be so very grateful for any help!!
