This is Eddie Bateman, and 8 days ago he received news no one ever wants to hear. A trip to the ER turned into a stage 4 clear cell renal cell carcinoma diagnosis. This in turn led to more tests that found it had metastasized to his lungs. This has turned his family's world upside down. He is a hard working, self employed, loving father of two amazing kids, and an adoring husband to a rockstar nurse wife.
