Rally for Dylan: Seeking Asylum and Hope

Dear community, I humbly write to ask if you would consider supporting my nephew, Dylan -- a student of Ferris High School, who was detained by ICE in June 2025. I am writing this request with the generous support of the local community, which has taken it upon itself to help me.

Dylan fled his country, fearing for his life. Upon arrival, he was designated an unaccompanied child, meaning he arrived in the United States without either of his parents. I took him in with open arms, but I am a refugee myself, and am struggling to make ends meet. I do not have the means to support Dylan in the way he needs at this time.

Dylan applied for asylum, was enrolled at Ferris High School, and was learning English. People who know him can attest to his character and struggle to comprehend why ICE detained a local Spokane high school student. Dylan has no criminal record. All he did was appear for his regularly scheduled ICE check-in, only to be detained without reason. I humbly ask you, as Dylan's only US relative, to consider donating what you can so we can hire an attorney to represent him in immigration court. I appreciate your consideration.
