Urgent Help Needed: Support for Dustin Garfman After Devastating Long Island House Fire

On the night of December 15, 2025, the lives of the Garfman family were tragically altered by a devastating house fire at their home on Depot Road in Huntington Station, Long Island.

This horrific blaze claimed the life of 82-year-old Barry Garfman. His son, Dustin Garfman, 42, who also lived in the home, was severely injured while attempting to escape and save his father. Dustin was rushed to Huntington Hospital and subsequently transferred to Stony Brook for specialized medical care, where he is currently fighting to recover.

A Community's Call to Action

The Garfman family has suffered an unimaginable loss, both personal and material. The fire, which required five local fire departments to extinguish, has left their home uninhabitable and destroyed nearly everything they owned.

Dustin is now facing a monumental battle:
