Rally for David's Tools - This is Not a Drill!

On April 1 at about 6:45am David Reed's truck was stolen from his driveway, along with a majority of his tools for work, which were loaded in the vehicle. Unfortunately, this was not an April Fool's joke. David is a carpenter, so this was a devastating loss for him and his new wife, Felicia. He had built up this collection of tools over the last decade to expand the types of jobs he could accept. To top it all off, the newlyweds were still celebrating the fact that the truck had just been paid off in full.

David's truck ended up being recovered, which they are incredibly relieved by and thankful for! However, the tools and personal belongings were not in it. The truck has a decent amount of damage, was trashed, and smoked in heavily. The list goes on, but you get the point: David and Felicia have their hands full taking all the necessary steps to get back on their feet following this whirlwind event.

After filing the police report, David did the math and was so disheartened to realize that the thief had driven off with roughly $4,000 worth of hard-earned tools. Not only were these tools his livelihood, but he also used these tools frequently to help out friends and family with their home projects and renovations. He is generous with his time and resources, a hard worker, and always gives his best. If you know David, then none of that is news to you!

He is always the first to step up and help others whether it is hauling furniture with his truck or bettering someone's home with his carpentry skills, and now it is our turn to rally around David and help him replace his tools that were stolen.
