Dear Friends and Community,

Dave Goodrich, the beloved owner of Alternative Surf in Seal Beach, was involved in a serious bodyboarding accident. While details are still emerging, we know that he is currently in stable condition but experiencing extreme pain due to multiple fractures and concerns with his lungs. He is awaiting further evaluation from an orthopedic surgeon to determine his injuries and the path to recovery.

Dave has been a cornerstone of our community through his passion for surfing, dedication to Alternative Surf, and his infectious love for the ocean. Now, it’s our turn to rally around him. We are asking for monetary donations only to help cover his medical expenses and provide financial relief for the time he’ll need away from work.
