Our family recently received devastating news—our dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. As you can imagine, this has completely shaken our world. He is now facing a long and difficult road filled with treatments, procedures, and the many emotional and physical challenges that come with this diagnosis.

My dad has always been the rock of our family—strong, kind, and selfless. He lives with intention and compassion. One of his most cherished sayings is: “Be a blessing and do it on purpose.”

The road ahead is uncertain and challenging—but one thing we are sure of is the strength, faith, and unwavering spirit that he continues to carry through it all.

He not only lives by this mantra, but he has passed it on to us, his children, and to everyone lucky enough to know him. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or quiet generosity, our dad has spent his life lifting others up. Now, we humbly ask for your help to lift him.

He is a deeply godly man who trusts fully in the Lord, even in the hardest moments. His faith is unshakable, and it gives all of us strength during this time.

Cancer care is incredibly expensive, even with insurance. There are countless out-of-pocket costs including specialized treatments, co-pays, travel to appointments, and medications. We’re also preparing for a loss of income, as he will have to take off work during treatment.

We’re asking for help, no matter how big or small—whether it’s a donation, a share of this page, or a prayer. Every bit of help allows us to focus on what matters most: walking beside our dad during this incredibly difficult time.

We are holding tight to God’s promises. One scripture that gives us strength is:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

And another that reflects how our dad lives his life:

“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” – Hebrews 13:16
