Hi everyone!
Most of you probably know me, but for those who don’t—I’m Kacie. I’m reaching out for help with my sweet kitty, Cricket, who has been dealing with a GI obstruction.
Cricket is almost two years old—snuggly, playful, and incredibly close with her brother. I rescued them both as tiny kittens after they were brought to my mom (a vet) for care. Cricket was so small and fragile when I first met her, but I instantly fell in love with her and her fluffy brother. Because she was such a tiny thing, she earned the nickname 'Little Bug,' which eventually became her name—Cricket. Since then, she's been my cuddly companion, always keeping me on my toes with her curiosity and antics.
Right now, I’m in a tough spot financially. I moved from Texas to Maryland in August to be with my boyfriend, Mitch, where he’s stationed for the military. Finding a job has been challenging in a saturated market. Although I did recently secure one, I don’t start until late April. In the midst of all this, Cricket’s vet bills have quickly piled up beyond what I can manage on my own. Asking for help isn’t easy, but I know I’m surrounded by an incredible community. If you’re able to donate—no matter the amount—it would truly mean the world to me and Cricket. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would be just as meaningful.
More than anything, I just want to get Cricket back to her happy, healthy self. Thank you for reading and for any kindness you send our way—we’re beyond grateful.
