Rally for Cody's Heart Surgery and Recovery

We are through the worst of it!!! Cody is doing well, but still dealing with some sleep issues. You know things are off when a 20-year-old goes to sleep at 10 pm and gets up at 8 am.

Thank you to all who contributed. It was so helpful for us financially. It would have been hard without this fantastic community. I am so thankful for my tribe!!

As many of you already know, Cody's surgery, scheduled for today, has been postponed. As hard as this is for all of us, it's especially tough on Cody right now. I can't imagine gearing up for a major surgery like the one he is scheduled to have and having it bumped without an indication of when it's going to be rescheduled. This had nothing to do with Cody or his condition. The cardiology team received a donor heart for a young kid who needed a heart transplant. We are, of course, so happy for that young child. Please keep Cody in your thoughts as he is now being asked to wait for an unknown date in the future.
