Craig and I are coming to the Northridge community, friends, and family for help for a dear friend. Everyone knows Jerry Venters and I believe just about every child starting nearly 38 years ago has had him in their life in one aspect or another. Either friends with his kids as my son is, or coaching and at times being a stand-in dad when one was needed. Jerry has coached for 38 years here in the Northridge community and loved each and every moment of it. Unfortunately, Jerry has been ill for years, but the last year has been very bad and he has entered end-of-life care today. His wife Jamie will need our help as Jerry did not have life insurance due to pre-existing conditions. He has been there for so many of the children in our community and now we ask that the community rally behind the Venters family to ease the financial burden that this causes. We want to make sure Jerry has a service that everyone can come and pay their respects.
