Support Coach Ben & His Family After Devastating Fire

Coach Ben is one of those rare people who gives endlessly without ever expecting anything in return. He has generously volunteered his time coaching Special Olympics basketball and softball — supporting all the athletes, including my own son, even though he doesn’t have a family member on the team. He shows up, encourages, and leads with heart — simply because he cares.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

On Monday morning, Coach Ben and his family experienced a house fire. Thankfully, everyone — including their beloved dogs — made it out safely. They are currently staying in a hotel while working through insurance and figuring out next steps.

Ben is the kind of person who’s always there when others need him. Whether through coaching, his work, or simply being part of the community, he constantly shows up for others — offering his time, support, and kindness without hesitation. Now he could use that same kindness in return.
