Helping Clymer get back on his Feet
Hi my name is Sage, a friend and a helper to Clymer. I help him with fundraisers and Benefits he does. About 12 years ago I had been mentally abused and thrown out my house. Lucky Clymer found me, he invited me to go get coffee then said I'm just gonna sit over there. If you want to talk about whatever. If not here take this.
I was a list of programs and how they can help. Along with 30 dollars.
To be honest I don't think I'd still be here if not for Clymer.
So I propose:
Clymer, a lifelong Santa Fean, has always been there for others.
For many of us, Clymer is a familiar face in Santa Fe. He's been a pillar of our community, consistently giving back to those in need. From supporting the Food Depot to helping homeless teens and providing a safe haven for women in need, Clymer has always been a friend to those who needed one.
If you knew Clymer in the late 90s or early 2000s, you likely have a story about how he helped you out – whether it was lending a hand, sharing a meal, or offering a place to stay. He's the kind of person who always puts others first.
But now, Clymer needs our help.
The past year has been incredibly challenging for him. He was unexpectedly pushed out of his job, depleting his savings. Medical issues that prevented him from working, further complicating his situation.
Tragically, Clymer's father recently had been moved to hospice to pass away peacefully. Starting before this and continuing over the next few months Clymer would be getting text saying to call his dad he not gonna last. He won't make it . Please keep in mind I'm (Sage) paraphrasing from what Clymers told me. That its just me Sage saying this based on what he's told me. The decision of Clymer to go see his dad since he had not seen him but 2 times in ten years. And thats what a child should do right.
Anywho Clymer Faced with mounting bills and no income, traveled to be with his father in his final days. But his father fights and fights. This added to his financial burden. By creating extra fees from missing deadlines, A lost contract for work. His wallet getting stolen along with having to pay people back for their help in getting him Back to Santa Fe.
Clymer is facing eviction in just 9 days.
He's overwhelmed by bills and struggling to keep his head above water. Despite the weight of these challenges, Clymer remains positive, always searching for a silver lining.
Let's show Clymer the same support he's always shown others.
Even a small contribution can make a significant difference. If 100 people donated the cost of a dinner out, we could significantly alleviate his financial burden and help him get back on his feet.
Let's come together as a community and support a man who has always been there for us.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
