At the end of March 2025, Clara began experiencing severe back pain and initially thought she was having gallbladder issues. After a visit to the ER, she received the devastating news that she has Stage 4 metastatic, chemo-resistant urothelial cancer.

She has always been the one to show up for others—whether as a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Hope, a trusted and compassionate dentist to her patients, or a steady source of strength for friends and family.
