Meet Christopher Hughes — a man who carries the weight of his entire family on his shoulders with zero complaints. With his father leaving when things got tough, Christopher stepped up to support his mom and his wife. Lately, he’s been fighting through one impossible challenge after another.

Six months ago, tragedy struck. Chris’s wife, who lives with epilepsy, suffered a seizure while driving on the highway. In a terrifying chain of events, her car was dragged by an 18‑wheeler for nearly a mile and a half before the driver realized what was happening. By a miracle, she survived — but her car didn’t.

As if that wasn’t enough, Chris’s mother battles chronic spinal and heart conditions (Neuropathy and Cogestive heart failure) that leave her bedridden most days, stacking medical bills to the ceiling.

Through all of this, Chris kept pushing. He finally landed a job at the Microsoft Data Center and was supposed to start Monday. This was his moment — the breakthrough his family desperately needed.

But life hit him again.

The transmission on his car died — the same car he had just replaced after his wife’s accident. Embarrassed and overwhelmed, he told me he couldn’t take the job because he had no way to get there.

I refuse to let this man’s story end like this.

I’ve put in the first $500 to get this fund started. Now I’m asking IG to do what IG does best — show up.

B. If we go big — and I know we can — I’ll buy Chris a car outright with the money and we can change this man’s life for REAL.
