Rally for Children's Recovery
Donation protected
On Michael's 45th birthday, he made a devastating choice - he took his own life in the presence of his children, age 16 and 18. These children were immediately forced to be adults - from calling 911, trying to save their father, making a decision to try to fulfill his last wishes with organ donation, and finally the decision to turn off the ventilator and say, "See you later".
As a result of this heartbreaking tragedy, the children are left with unpaid bills, the need for counseling, funeral costs, and daily necessities in the short term.
Counseling will be critical to the success of the children's future and ability to recover from this devastating event. The children want to be able to lay him to rest in a way that they know would be pleasing to their father, and honor his memory.
There are bills left unpaid, such as heat, lights, plowing - medical bills associated with the incident, and much more.
Lastly, as result of what occurred, the children lost almost all of their possessions, clothing and personal items - this will help them to start again.
So many amazing people have come forward wanting to know what they can do and how they can help - any small donation will make a huge impact on these children and their recovery. Thank you for anything that you can do. God bless you!
