Last Call for Chef Paul: AltaEats REOPENS March 27
Donation protected
Hello to everyone. The support for Chef Paul and AltaEats is overwhelming; what started with a small donation of $100 is now approaching 10 X the original goal.
The Altadena/Southern California community has joined our High School Alumni fundraiser with overwhelming generosity.
Here's a post: Hi. Just donated to Paul's GoFundMe. He doesn't know me but I love his restaurant and have gone often. Thank you.
Thanks for every donation.
Paul has contacted me. He and his family are all safe, and he is grateful for your generosity.
Let's keep this going until the Eaton fire is contained?
If you have a few dollars to support a coffee run, a gallon of gas, or those irritating fees you have to pay to use an ATM that isn't partnered with your bank-please do.
PA High School community: Please circulate the message and consider donating at any level.
UPDATE from GoFundMe:
Hello. I just wanted to let you know the home Paul lived was lost in the fire. He lost all his belongings. I am the daughter of his landlords. Sharing in case you want to update the page with this sad news. I will share your page and make a donation. Thank you.
** END OF MESSAGE **
There is a great restaurant in Altadena, CA named AltaEats. Highly recommended.
The best part is when the chef visits your table, answering questions about how the meal was prepared and effortlessly chats with all the guests.
News reports confirm that Altadena has been almost completely destroyed. My thoughts go to Chef Paul Ragan, whose restaurant area is under threat.
Certainly, many problems lie ahead for those affected by the fires.
Well wishes for Chef Paul. Here is a small thank you tip for your service.
May this small amount help you over some difficult days.
Join me, if you have some spare change, to buy a cup of coffee for Paul.
