On March 20, 2026, our world was turned upside down in an instant. My brother, Charles, was riding his motorcycle when a tragic accident changed everything. He was run off the road and suffered a subarachnoid hematoma and a parietal lobe injury, leaving him in the ICU fighting for his life. He is currently in the ICU battling severe brain swelling. Charles is struggling with fluctuating sodium levels that doctors are working tirelessly to stabilize to stop the swelling in his brain and he is facing a long, uncertain road to recovery.
