Rally for Charles: Aid His Fight and Family

My name is John and I’m trying to raise funds to help my good friend Charles, who was hit with very unexpected diagnoses. Thanks for taking the time to read this and donating if you’re able.

Last week, Charles had a biopsy and CT scan that uncovered three brain tumors and melanoma in his neck. He first noticed something unusual roughly six months ago. As of October 22, 2024, one tumor has been removed! Which is a great start to treatment. The remaining tumors and melanoma will be treated with radiation therapy.

Charles is dad to Kam and Breigh, with Kam still in high school. He’s an avid fisherman, central part of the Striper fishing community, and terrific friend to have in your corner. We’re hoping to return to that sense of support and community to him now - when he really needs a village.

At just 59 years young, this came quickly and unexpectedly. Not only will the radiation take a toll on his mental and physical health, but Charles is not covered by insurance at this time. He will likely be unable to return to work (in the construction trades) for the foreseeable future. But the doctors are working hard to get him back on his feet!

With Kam to raise, the worry of no work, and necessary medical bills… Charles could use a hand. Thanks again for your support.
