I'm recreating this GoFundMe for my best friend, CeeCee, to help with Lucy! I want to be clear—CeeCee is not asking for this; we're doing it out of pure love and support for her! As many of you know, she's going through an incredibly tough time right now! I honestly don’t know what to say, so I think I’m just going to put what CeeCee already said. Lucy went to vet today (had to go to urgent care because the first initial place made me do an appointment for the soonest). We had a FNA (fine needle aspirate) and it came back conclusive for lymphoma. Next steps are keeping the first appointment to begin a biopsy to see what stage it’s in and whether the beginning dose of treatments the urgent care gave us is working and continue it or try something more aggressive, depending on my budget. Soooooo. I’m trying really hard to be optimistic for me. Lucy, being the amazing creature she is, is staying by my side and we are going to fight for as long as we can. Soooo at this point, take my car. Take everything. I’m fighting for Lucy. I’d rather lose everything than lose my baby. The plus side of everything is she is acting normally: eating, drinking, sleeping. She does have some diarrhea and with the medication, it looks like I’ll be sleeping less for the frequent urination. Worth it. I don’t know how long, but I do know that I will make her last days as fun filled and full of love. For years, we've had the privilege of knowing CeeCee and witnessing her creativity, humor, kindness, and generosity. She's always been the one helping others, offering guidance, and uplifting those around her—including me. Now, it's our turn to be there for her.
