Hello Friends and Family,

My name is RoAnn and I am doing this fundraiser for my beautiful friend Cathy Baker.

Cathy is an amazing friend, and overall human.

On June 23rd, Cathy went in for a routine neck surgery. When she came out of surgery, she wasn't waking up or responding at all, so she was taken in for a second surgery. After the second surgery, Cathy woke to find she couldn't move at all. After 7 days in the ICU, Cathy was transported by ambulance from Idaho Falls to U of U Craig H. Neilson Rehabilitation Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Right now, Cathy is moving pretty fast with her rehab. She is coming along nicely with her right side with lots of movement. Her left side is not doing as well. She is unable to walk and will be in a wheelchair for an undetermined time.

She will need rehab for many, many months...possibly years. She is heading home on Aug 26 and will need a lot of help and care at home.

Cathy's husband is the sole provider for the two of them.

The bills are already starting to come in. They do have insurance, but it doesn't cover all the costs. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your donations and prayers.
