Rally for Cassie, Kim, and Baby Ridge

Hi friends,

I’m reaching out on behalf of two absolutely wonderful humans, Cassie and Kim, as they prepare to welcome their baby boy, Ridge, into the world. It’s an exciting time—but not without some serious challenges.

Cassie has had a brutal pregnancy. She’s been battling hyperemesis since day one (basically non-stop nausea and vomiting on expert mode with hospital visits 3x a week for fluids), and she’s been on work restrictions since November. As if that wasn’t enough, in March she was derailed from working even part time after being diagnosed with cholestasis—another high-risk complication that has now landed her in the hospital, where she’ll be staying until baby Ridge makes his debut sometime(fingers crossed) in May.

That means two months with no ability to work, and to top off life expenses now they have all the added expenses that come with a long-term hospital stay and a NICU stay once Ridge arrives. While Cassie and Kim are doing everything they can to stay strong, focused, and hopeful, the financial strain is very real.

This is where we come in.

If you’re able to pitch in—whether it’s the cost of a coffee, a meal, or a Netflix subscription for hospital limbo—it would make a huge difference. Every bit helps lighten the load so Cassie and Kim can focus on what really matters: getting through these final weeks and bringing home a healthy baby boy.
