In August of 2024, my entire world was turned upside down when my beautiful wife of 19 years was taken to the hospital for stomach pain. We found out that the pain was stage 4 cancer. My wife immediately began the stressful journey of locating doctors and starting treatments. Unfortunately, my wife did not have medical insurance, and the bills began to pile up. At this time, my wife needs life-saving surgery, and the hospital is requesting $20,000 to schedule it. This is in addition to the $17,000 we owe another hospital for initial testing and hospital stays, and the $4,000 we owe for cancer treatments. We have worked hard to pay the bills as they come in and have already utilized our available resources.
