Support Brittney’s Fight Against Breast Cancer!

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re reaching out to ask for your help and support for an incredible woman, Brittney—a loving mom of three, a devoted wife, a passionate kindergarten teacher, and quite possibly the most sarcastic person you’ll ever meet.

At just 39 years old, Brittney was recently diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer. Thankfully, she caught it early—she discovered a lump in her armpit and didn’t hesitate to get it checked. Because of her quick action, she was able to begin treatment right away.

So far, her chemo journey has gone well, and the cancer is responding as we’d hoped. Her prognosis is very optimistic, and we are all so grateful for that. However, there’s been an unexpected twist: while she initially planned for a lumpectomy, a complication means she may now need a full mastectomy and reconstruction. To make the best decisions for her health and future, Brittney needs a second opinion—and that involves travel and/or additional expenses.

Why We’re Asking for Help…

Brittney and her husband, Justin, are doing everything they can to keep life as normal as possible for their kids—Landon, Paydon, and Madilyn. Between chemo treatments, cheering her kids on at football games and wrestling matches, and staying positive through it all, Brittney is truly an inspiration. But cancer treatment in the U.S. is expensive, even with insurance, and this new twist has added extra strain.

We live in an area with limited medical resources, so traveling for consultations and potentially surgery will mean additional costs—flights or long drives, hotels, meals, and more. On top of that, Brittney will need time off work for recovery, adding to the financial burden. With the holidays approaching and a kid getting ready to head to college, this couldn’t come at a tougher time.
