Rally for Brian’s Recovery
Donation protected
Brian Heitmann and his younger brother, Greg, were involved in a severe off-roading accident while riding at the Silver Land Sand Dunes on April 21. Their Polaris RZR rolled multiple times, with the roof and roll bars crashing down on their heads. Thankfully, nearby medical personnel treated Brian until he was air lifted to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Greg was transported locally to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, where he had surgery for his neck injury. Doctors expect him home this week.
Despite tremendous pain and discomfort, Brian is currently being treated for extensive injuries including multiple fractures in his skull, four broken ribs, and three fractured vertebrae in mid-back. With significant time and therapy, doctors expect Brian to make a full recovery although the timeline is uncertain.
He’s improving one day at a time. He
is eager to come home to his wife, Jessica, and three daughters, Olivia (2 years), Angelina (9 mos.), and Samantha (9 mos.).

Brian works as the owner/operator of Height Control Lawn and Landscape company, and he is the sole provider for his family of 5.

Brian and his family appreciate the continued prayers and well wishes, along with any financial support offered to cover 'out of pocket' medical bills and additional costs incurred during the recovery period.
Thank you in advance for caring about our family. Every little bit helps. Please share Brian’s story around.
