Rally for Brett & Mitch's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
My name is Brett Deming and I was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer just before Christmas 2024. I have a son, Mitch, who is 18 years old and is a senior at the Morgan School in Clinton, CT.
I am currently undergoing treatment and have completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy. I am about to begin radiation and will take more chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking my tumor. This summer, I will have a life changing surgery.
The treatments are starting to take a toll, and not being able to work has put a strain on me and my son financially. I feel helpless and can’t do all the things I used to do with my son. I do receive payments from short term disability, but it has been difficult to keep up with many of my financial obligations. For anyone that has used short term disability you know they provide a fraction of your salary. I have never been one to ask for help as I take pride in helping others. Today, I am asking for your help.
Mitch and I thank you for reading our story and for any donation you may make to help make my fight against cancer a little easier for both of us.
Please keep us both in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate these uncertain months ahead.
p.s. Please get your colonoscopy's and know the signs and symptoms. https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/colon-rectal-cancer/about.html
