Rally for Bentley: Bring Back His Bike

As most of you have probably read, Bentleys dirt bike was stolen on may 18th 2025. Bentley on his own saved his OWN money to buy the bike his heart was set on. Well if you truly know Bentley the nearly 13 year old boy who loves to game and eat at McDonald’s then you know how hard this task was for him to accomplish, yet he knew what he wanted and so he made himself be disciplined. On March 27th 2025 he was able to do just that, buy the bike he had wanted for the past year! This bike came with more meaning than a new gem off the showroom floor, this bike was bought from people who mean the world to him, also known as his second parents. You could drive by at any hour and catch him tearing up the yard if he wasn’t at a sports practice or competing for sports team somewhere. Bentley was hours away at his aunts wedding when our pole barn was broken into and his bike was taken, let me mention his bike was the absolutely only thing taken that night. A police report was made, and him coming home that evening and having to tell him the news before he ran out to the pole barn ready to ride was honestly the hardest thing to do. To watch his shoulders drop, the color drain from his face, and his eyes instantly fill with tears. The words “wait what, what do you mean” still ring so fresh to my ears. As a parent waiting to take that pain and fill that void was the immediate response. Watching him not eat but push his food around his plate for the next 4 days at dinner was heart shattering. Bentley is one of 6 kids and though as parents we would love to be able to call this a wash and just buy him a new bike, the economy and home life just don’t add up to that right now. So we want to say thank you to each and everyone of you who have offered to chip in to help bring joy back to a child that bought his own joy, and had it so maliciously taken from him.
