‘RALLY FOR AUDREY’S RECOVERY’        May 31

*UPDATE                                                                    June10
Audrey is doing well. She is still is an inpatient at
Orchard Manor Rehab and continuing to slowly
improve day by day. She is eager to go home but that
won't be for awhile yet.  Ron-her husband, my Dad,
was sent home from ECMC in Buffalo, June 6th after
4 days then went back in the hospital the next day,
June 7th. He was transported by ambulance to
Buffalo General with the same heart issues. Racking
up even more expenses. Ron did come home
yesterday, June 9th. Ron is hoping to see Audrey
today as he hasn't seen his wife since her surgery on
May 27! This has certainly been a rollercoaster ride
for my parents which makes me feel so helpless. But,
I am fortunate that they are still here and trying to
keep my faith strong with support that you all have
    given us!
Once again, asking for prayers for continued healing
for Audrey, as well as Ron, and donations for their
ever rising expenses through this whole espisode.
Even sharing this story on your FB page would
    certainly be appreciated as well!
**Thank you so much to the friends and family who
have sent prayers and their donations. You are
amazing and we are so blessed, once again, to have
you all in our lives. Thank you, Thank you!
         Sincerely,
             Catherine

*UPDATE to the story below                          June 2
Seems to never end! As Audrey has been moved
to a rehab center, Ron-her husband,my dad- has
been admitted to the hospital in Buffalo. His
defibullator went off 2-3Xs, which doctors say is
not good. His is set to have a cat scan and other
tests done in the next day or two.
The mountain of obstacles and medical bills are
continuing to rise even more. I hope those who
take the tiime to read this story, could find it in your
hearts to contribute a buck or two for this extremly
difficult time of Audrey and Ron's tribulations.
    Prayers are appreciated as well!
        Thank you
           Sincerely,
              Audrey and Ron's Daughter,
                                                                                Catherine

*ORIGINAL STORY-

Audrey French has helped so many people throughout the years and now her family wants to help her during this time of crisis. Audrey underwent emergency hip surgery on May 27.

She shattered her hip after falling down her stairs to let the family dog, Milo, outside.  My mother is a proud and independent woman, always doing for others while putting her needs last. That is why I, her daughter, am reaching out for your help during this unexpected and difficult time for her.

Audrey has always been the prime caretaker of her family (also helping anyone in need); always supportive, emotionally, financially or taking someone in her home when they had nowhere else to go. She is currently the only one caring for her husband of 56 years, my dad, who has been through several life-threatening surgeries. Now she is unable to fill that roll.

She still works in her solely owned business she’s had for over 50 years as well as a being a retired dedicated CNA. Her entire family means so much to her as well as our circle of friends. She has attended every wedding, baby/wedding shower, graduations, milestone birthdays, every funeral, etc. She has always been there for our very large extended family and our dear friends. Audrey lives in a small town where she was born and raised. She is a highly respected citizen in this community and very active in our wonderful church. She is an amazing Mom, loving grandma and cherished wife!

Audrey now faces the reality of many obstacles;

*‘Loss of Income’       *Jeopardy of losing clientele

*Months of extensive rehabilitation       *No driving

*More medical expenses (adding to current expenses from her husbands’ past surgeries in the last 3 years)

*Not being able to help my father with his needs

*Not able to perform everyday life little tasks like: tying her shoes, putting on socks, let  alone taking care of her home and running errands..just to mention a few on long, long list

It’s so hard to watch someone like her, so active and healthy, face these challenges that lie ahead. It can happen to anyone of us at any time and believe me, it is life altering.

The French family would deeply appreciate any and all donations to help in our ‘RALLY FOR AUDREY’S RECOVERY’

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea and may God bless all of you!

Very Sincerely,

Audrey’s Daughter,

Catherine French
