Rally For Ashley & Fight Leukemia!
Mid-January Ashley Truhan came home from work after feeling lethargic, not having an appetite to find she had odd bruises on her legs and feet. This prompted her to seek an emergency care facility. Quickly noticing that something wasn't right she was sent over to the Presby ER for further dianostics. Blood tests confirmed what was the biggest fear, Cancer.
She's now with UPMC getting her first round of Chemo after finding out she has AML - Acute Myeloid Leukemia. It's an aggressive type, so treatment immediately is crucial.

As she undergoes the first round of chemo, it's a waiting game. She'll be monitored for at least a month to see how it sticks with the possibility for additional treatment.
In the meantime, let's band together to ensure her and her husband, Bryan, have financial support in this trying time. The funds will support costs associated with treatment, any additional treatment, and income loss.

If you've met Ashley through work or a beer event, you already know that she is quite frankly the SWEETEST woman to exist. In our eyes this is truly unfair to see someone we Love and care about go through such a challenging and scary experience like this.
BUT WE KNOW SHE IS A TOUGH SOB AND WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL.
Let's ensure she comes out of this with little to worry about.
