Dear Friends,

We are reaching out with an update on our beloved friend, April McKee Flores. As some of you may know, shortly after the previous GoFundMe campaign, April suffered a stroke. Soon after, she faced another significant challenge—a severe kidney infection. True to her fighting spirit, April overcame the infection and remains determined to tackle the challenges brought on by the stroke.

The great news is that April has now been transferred to OHSU, where preparations for her liver transplant have begun. This marks an important step forward in her journey.

April is incredibly grateful for the generosity shown during the last fundraiser. This updated campaign aims to help with the mounting medical expenses, including the transport to Portland and other imminent costs, such as room and board for 3 months post-surgery. Your continued support—whether through donations, prayers, or kind words—means the world to her during this critical time.
