Rally for Anthony's Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected

Hello everyone, my name is Anthony Ramos. As I’m writing this, I'm still in disbelief that this is happening. After so many years of being in the hospital, having many medical issues, while still being the best mommy ever, the mother of my two lovely boys has passed. Mayte was just 39. She fought hard and gave all she could to be here for my boys, but this time, after a hospital visit, she will not be coming back to them. This has been very hard for everyone as it was just a shock that this has happened when she went in just for a foot surgery. Diabetes is a silent killer. Please, if you have diabetes, take care of yourself, especially type 1. She has suffered enough pain, sickness, depression, and lack of being able to be a mommy that normal kids get to have. My boys have known their mom to be in and out of the hospital but knew she’d get better and come home, but this time she won’t. It still has not hit my boys that mommy is gone. They keep asking what can be done; it kills me to see their sad faces and silent cries. I know everyone has their own financial obligations in life, but we are in need of any amount you can donate. No one expected something like this, especially at this age for her. Only God knows why he has chosen to take her with him. She had signed to be an organ donor, so she will also be helping others by saving their lives by donating her organs that can be saved. She was such an amazing mother, person, daughter, friend, and person to be with at all times. Her smile lit up the room; her presence was felt with warm, loving energy. She did not deserve to be dealt with so many health complications. The doctors did all they could, and we prayed every day, but this time she will finally rest in peace. I will be moving forward as a single father of our two boys, but I will do what I need to do to make sure they will never forget her and raise them to be amazing men. Hug your loved ones and don’t hold grudges, because life is too short and it can be taken away in a heartbeat. She will be truly missed and in my boys' hearts. If you can find it in your hearts to help with the cost of the funeral costs that we’re asking, the family and I would be very appreciative. God bless everyone.
