UPDATE on Memorial Service:

The services to remember and celebrate Annelise will be in Estes Park

at the YMCA of the Rockies on Saturday, August 9 at 2 PM in Hyde Chapel. All are welcome.

UPDATE:

It is with a heavy heart that I share, on behalf of her family and loved ones, that Annelise's medical situation has not improved and therefore the decision was made to take her off life support.

She spent her final moments with Orion and her family.

Please hold her family close in your heart during this incredibly challenging time. Unfortunately, the path does not end here for them so any support is still greatly appreciated and needed.

We will update here once we know more about services.

Finally, please take some time to reflect on the person we know Annie truly was and honor her that way and how she impacted your life. In a few of the words of her loved ones this week:

"She loved fiercely."

"She impacted the lives of countless children and women through her undying commitment to help improve their lives."

"She gave her all, sometimes even when she shouldn't have."

Annelise is currently fighting for her life, unexpectedly. What was supposed to be a fairly typical procedure has quickly turned into a life threatening situation that has left her in a medically induced coma. She is fighting and the medical professionals are doing everything they can but this family needs our support!

If you know Annelise, you know she has dedicated her whole life to supporting others. She gives generously, has cared for and educated hundreds of children. She will drop what she's doing to help her friends and coworkers.

We are hopeful she will make it through but any path forward will filled with many challenges and burdens.

Annelise's husband and family are working as many details out as possible, mostly for their 7 year old son, Orion. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly overwhelming time.

This is our chance to step up for Annelise so that her family doesn't need to worry about as many financial and administrative logistics.

We will likely soon be setting up a meal train and child care support for Orion. Stay tuned!
