First, I just want to say that I don't really want to do this. As most of our friends and family know, Anita has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, has been in the hospital a lot over the last 2 months, and is now in a nursing home for physical therapy due to a broken hip that she cannot have surgery on because of the cancer that has spread to the bones. It's impossible to have surgery as the bones in her body are too weak and would cause more problems than it would help. She has not been able to work and technically she was "the breadwinner." With medical bills now starting to come in and other bills becoming due, I'm asking, though so embarrassing to do so, for help. This is the last thing I wanted to do.
