Help Angie Get Back on Her Feet (But Not Behind the Wheel Just Yet!)
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to share an update about our mom, Angie. A few days ago, life threw her a curveball when she experienced a sudden seizure, and doctors are still looking into whether she may have also had a stroke. Thankfully, Angie is a fighter (with a good dose of stubbornness), and she’s making progress in the hospital.
That said, she’s going to be in the hospital for a while longer as she recovers and gets her strength back. In true Angie fashion, she’s already cracking jokes with the nurses, but we’ve got a long road ahead.
One of the biggest challenges we’re facing now is that because of the seizure, Angie won’t be allowed to drive for the next six months. Anyone who knows her knows that being told not to drive is almost worse than being in the hospital! This will mean a lot of extra transportation needs for appointments, therapy, and daily life once she’s home.
We’re starting this GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses, transportation needs, and living costs while she focuses on getting better. Our family is doing everything we can to help, but we’re quickly realizing that we need to reach out for support.
If you know Angie, you know she’s always been the first to lend a hand (or a hilarious story) when someone needs it. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to us—and if you’re not able to donate, sharing this page with others would be just as appreciated. Every bit helps get Angie back on her feet, even if it’ll be a little while before she’s back in the driver’s seat.
Thank you so much for all of the love, prayers, and support. Angie’s got this, but we know it takes a village—and we’re so grateful to have you in ours.
