Help Support Our Uncle’s Fight for a Healthy Heart

Our beloved uncle has always been the rock of our family! Amos is a giver, a provider, and a light to everyone he meets. Now, he’s facing one of the biggest challenges of his life: a critical heart condition that may require a heart transplant.

He was recently hospitalized after experiencing severe shortness of breath, fatigue, and fluid buildup in his lungs. Doctors revealed that his heart is currently functioning at only 20–25%, far below the average of 65%. He has fluid surrounding his heart and lungs due to the poor pumping of his heart, and although medication is being used to manage his condition right now, a heart transplant is likely in the near future.

This journey is overwhelming, not only physically and emotionally, but financially. Even with insurance, out-of-pocket costs for a heart transplant can reach $50,000–$70,000, not including the ongoing medication, clinic visits, lifestyle adjustments, and recovery support that come with it.

Our goal with this fundraiser is to ease the financial burden on him so that he can focus on healing. These funds will go directly toward:

Life-saving medications

Medical visits and follow-ups

Heart transplant preparation and potential surgery

Nutrition, wellness, and recovery support
