Help with finances after loss

***UPDATE*** On 3/10 at 4:13pm, I was able to hold my fiancés hand as he took his final breath. My world is shattered but the bills won't stop. I have tirelessly been looking for a job to support our family. I am not one to ask for help in anyway but how do you start to grieve when you have to worry about finances? I ask now to please assist in any way you can. I am so thankful for everyone who helps. It is truly a blessing.

My name is Rebecca and I'm starting this for my fiancé, Alex. On 2/13 at 3am, our lives changed. Alex was shot in his right leg due to accidental discharge, which hit his popliteal artery. This resulted in massive blood loss, and I had to perform CPR on him in order to save him one way or another. He was rushed to the trauma center where a vein graft was attempted, but 24 hours later, it ultimately failed, and he required an above-knee amputation. Currently, he is intubated, in the early stages of liver and kidney failure, and having issues regulating his heart rate and blood pressure. He was the sole provider for our family. Due Alex's condition, their mother took his 4 children back to New Jersey so they are no longer in our care and we have a child together as well as my 2 children. It's unsure of the exact outcome as it's very touch and go. I don't ask for help, but we really need this for medical and household bills. Please find it in your heart to bless us.
