Rally for Alex: A Mother's Plea for Support
Donation protected
Hello,
I'm writing for my 24-year-old son, Alex. On Monday, July 7th, he went to work as usual. He then came home early because he became sick at work. On his way home, he noticed his right leg was becoming numb. When he got home, he decided to go lay down. About a half hour later, he asked me to come into his room. He told me about his leg and said now he can't move it. It was decided that we needed to go to the ER. On the way there, his left leg began to go numb. In the hospital, a CT scan was done. When he came back from the scan, he had lost the use of both of his legs. He was transported to a bigger hospital, where the doctors said there was nothing to do because of his size. He is now paralyzed from above his bellybutton down. Alex is one of the most caring people I know. He is so giving and kind. He loves his family and doggies (Charlie & Izzy). As you would think, this Momma has started to think about what we need to do to get him home. There will be a lot of modifications that will need to be made to our home. I'm asking for donations for his medical bills and modifications to our home to get him home. I thank you for any help you can give.
Thank you,
Jaline, proud Mom
