Rally for Aiken: Aid His Healing Journey

As most of our local baseball community knows, one of our Hazle Township Little League players Aiken S. suffered a tragic accident during a game. With the help of coaches and bystanders they were able to assist with his injuries until EMS arrived. He was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton where he was then transferred down to Lehigh Valley Riley Childrens Hospital in Allentown. He suffered from severe lacerations to his mouth and lost several teeth due to the impact. He underwent an extensive surgery on his mouth and will continue to see additional specialists due to the significance of his injuries. He will need constant care while he is recovering and his family will be unable to work. We are asking our surrounding communities to help us raise funds to cover his medical expenses and any expenses the family will endure due to this unimaginable circumstance. Every little bit will help them get back on their feet while Aiken recovers from his trauma.
