Hey everyone. I am doing this fundraiser for my dad, Jimmy Dowdle. My dad is one of the best human beings I know, I love him so much. He was just diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic melanoma that has spread all over his body. He will be doing immunotherapy and some targeted radiation.

He is a registered nurse working two full time jobs right now to try to pay everything off and put our family in a better position. He is so caring and hardworking. He cares about his job and his patients. He is so so strong. He loves everyone and makes everyone feel included, and that they matter. He makes friends anywhere he goes, just talking and joking with everyone. He has always been an amazing dad, making sure to put all of our needs first before himself. He takes all of us daughters out for Valentine’s Day to make sure that even if we don’t have a date, he will always be there for us. He has been married to his wife, our mom, for 25 years. They have welcomed four daughters and together we make one big family.

He loves baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. He also loves the University of Utah football team, go Utes!

We are raising funds to go towards medical bills, house bills, such as paying off the house as much as possible or if possible, a much needed family vacation. If possible we want to make it so he doesn’t have to work 2 full time jobs and we can have more time with him and he can be home resting more. We are starting with this goal to go towards anything we need. Please if you are able donate, or even just share this with everyone you know. And please, if you will, pray for him and our family.
