Rally for a Loving Mom in Urgent Need

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sweet friend who is in a season of deep need. She is a loving, selfless mother of three, two of whom have disabilities—one with a hearing aid and ongoing health challenges, and another who faces significant mental health and developmental delays. Despite everything she carries, she remains incredibly strong, never complaining, and always giving her all for her children.

She works at a local daycare, putting in as many hours as she can. The job is a blessing in that it allows her to bring her youngest daughter, who has special needs, with her. This flexibility is crucial, and why finding another job just isn’t an option right now.

After being left by her fiancé of 12 years, she has been doing everything possible to stay afloat- and without assistance like food stamps, which she recently lost. Her weekly paychecks are under $200 after taxes, and she often takes on overtime when coworkers offer up their shifts, just to make ends meet.

Her car has no AC, yet she continues to drive her babies to work, school events, and medical appointments in the Louisiana heat. And now, to make things even harder, the AC in her home has also gone out. With summer quickly approaching, the situation is becoming urgent.

This is not someone looking for handouts. She is willing to work odd jobs and do whatever it takes to make a better life for her kids—but right now, she just needs a hand to get over this mountain. If you feel led, any amount helps. Even sharing this means the world.
