Hi friends,
I truly believe that one of the most powerful things we can do in this life is show up for each other—especially in times of struggle. Today, I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone who has always fought to survive but now needs a community to lift him up.
My dear friend has been on his own since he was 14 years old, working incredibly hard—70+ hours a week—just to keep a roof over his head. Despite his determination, he has still faced unimaginable challenges. He lived through hurricane Helene in Asheville, pushing through disaster while trying to stay afloat. And now, on top of everything, he has been hospitalized for weeks at a time due to ongoing health issues, leaving him with crushing medical bills he simply cannot afford. Every dollar he earns is going toward medical expenses, leaving him unable to cover even his basic living costs. For someone who has always worked tirelessly to support himself, facing this level of financial and physical hardship is devastating.
He has never been one to ask for help, but I know that no one should have to fight alone. I want to remind him—and anyone else struggling—that there are people who care, that he matters, and that it’s okay to lean on others when life becomes too heavy.
If you can give, even just a few dollars, it will go directly toward:
• Medical bills from his hospitalization
• A chance to breathe after years of non-stop struggle
I know times are tough for many of us, but every donation, every share, and every kind word makes a difference. Let’s come together and show him he’s not alone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this with others, or simply sending him your love and positive energy. It all matters.
