Rally for a Family Facing Unexpected Challenges
Donation protected
Me and my fiancé Mason McKelvey are both recovered alcoholics. We’ve had a rocky journey to reach where we are at today. This year, we will both be celebrating 3 years of sobriety. We are expecting a baby boy who’s due in less than two weeks now… my fiancé was involved in a near fatal car accident almost two weeks ago. He is estimated to not be able to walk for a year. With a newborn almost arriving, I myself am currently not working. I have three other children, one which I have been fighting for nearly a year to regain custody of after giving birth to her in prison. Without full custody, I am unable to utilize a magnitude of resources as far as grocery assistance and emergency babysitting. I don’t have a license which also limits my ability to move around and complete simple day to day activities. I’m asking for help from my community to be able to simply maintain my house and home for my family in this time of hardship. My fiancé was our sole provider, and now I am put into a position where I must provide for all of my four children and taking care of my fiancé full time at home.
Any donations received by us will be used for paying utility bills, rent, purchasing medical supplies and medications, gas, or personal hygiene products. My family relies on all of these items currently. We are just trying to stay afloat until something can give. My fiancé and children need %100 of my care and attention at this time. Thank you so much for considering our family and God bless you for your support.
