Rally Around Wetherbee

Hi everyone!

I am Frankie Colangelo, a snowboarder and a pilot.  I am a long time friend and collegue of Gary Wetherbee, one of the finest humans to ever occupy our planet, and a Jay Peak Stateside legend in his own time!

As you may or may not know, Gary is ill and battling cancer.  He has a difficult road ahead of him. He will be hold up in his home, avoiding sickness and injury while he gives his body the best possible chance to help his treatments work.  

These treatments will put him out of commission in various capacities which is why I am starting this fund.  
Gary will likely not be able to continue working at Bernie's.  As a result of him holding up in the house,  he will not be able to rent his cabin to skiiers.  As his condition develops, he may not be able to work any of the other side and odd jobs he uses to keep income. 

We will use the money to keep Gary above water financially while he is not able to provide for himself.  When he beats cancer, we want him to be secure financially in the future to which he has to look forward.  

Everyone that knows Gary knows why this is so important.  He is a man, with a heart as big as his personality and class matched only by his generosity. He has always welcomed everyone he has known with an open door policy and an encouraging demeanor.
Personally, I have spent enough nights at his house and drank enough of his beer to owe him back rent for the rest of my life.  Not only that  I think I may be the first snowboarder he has actually liked although he wouldn't admit it.

Please give what you can and please pass this on to any and everyone who's life has touched Gary's.  I am grateful for our friends and thank you in advance.  Now is the time to help.
