Rally around the Zimbelman's.

It's with deep sadness that I must share the difficult news facing the Zimbelman family. As many of you know, the Zimbelman's are such compassionate and selfless individuals, always ready to lend a hand to others without expecting anything in return. Mary never likes to burden others with her own troubles, but as her friend, I feel compelled to ask for help on their behalf, knowing they would never ask for themselves.

Mary Zimbelman, our former Sierra PTA President and the original founder of the Strides for Sierra 5K, is currently grappling with unexpected emotional and financial challenges due to her husband Gabe's ongoing battle with cancer and recent hospice expenses that have arisen. Unfortunately, despite his valiant battle since being diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2023, his health is rapidly declining. In light of these circumstances, we are joining together to offer our support to Mary, Gabe, and their children Nicholas and Lizzy during this incredibly challenging time. Our goal is to ease the financial burden caused by medical expenses and end of life care, allowing the Zimbelman family to focus on what truly matters - being together in these precious moments.

No amount is too small and every donation is deeply appreciated.
