Help Support the Underwood Family
If you know Scott and Amber Underwood, you know they’re always the first to show up when someone’s in need. They didn’t ask to be put in this position—but here we are. And now it’s our turn to show up for them.
After weeks of uncertainty, Scott spent 8 days in the ICU before finally receiving a diagnosis of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, a rare condition that causes increased pressure around the brain. It was a relief to have answers, but the road since then has been anything but easy.
Shortly after returning home, Scott experienced complications with his kidneys. A large stone had to be surgically removed, forcing him to stop the medication that was helping manage his brain pressure. As a result, his symptoms returned, and he now faces another major surgery to have a shunt placed.
As if that weren’t enough, they’ve now been hit with another challenge—Scott has developed staph in his bloodstream and is undergoing further testing and treatment.
Every step forward has come with two steps back. But through it all, Scott and Amber have held onto faith, strength, and hope.
So many of you have already reached out and asked how you can help—and we are so incredibly grateful. This family has poured love and support into so many others, and now we have the opportunity to return the favor.
If you feel led, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden of medical bills, travel, and missed work. Most of all, please continue to pray for healing, strength, and peace.
We will remain faithful, knowing that God is a good God—even in the hard. And we believe He will carry the Underwoods through this storm.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
