We are fundraising on behalf of the Ouellette family who are facing an incredibly difficult and life-changing situation. Two years ago, Guy was diagnosed with Early Onset Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, leaving him unable to continue working and providing financially for his family. This unexpected and heartbreaking transition resulted in the sudden and complete loss of income, forcing his wife Cassandra to enter the work force to financially support their family.

Since Guy’s diagnosis, he has been lovingly cared at home by his wife and their seven children until a few weeks ago when he took a dramatic turn for the worse, was hospitalized, and is now waiting to be placed in a long-term care facility.

The suddenness of this transition has created a significant financial burden for the family given the cost of long-term care. We are hoping that we can come together and shower the Ouellette family with love and support during this Christmas season and that they truly feel this time of giving in a way they deserve.

Funds raised will help support:

• Long term care and medical-related expenses

• Ongoing household and living costs for the family

• Transportation and visitation expenses

• Future care and support needs
